During a defensive struggle on Sunday, the Denver Broncos clinched a close win over the winless New York Jets. Quarterback Bo Nix connected on a first-quarter touchdown pass and specialist Wil Lutz kicked the game-winning go-ahead field goal to secure the hard-fought win.

Defensive Performance Wins Game

Even with registering nine sacks versus Jets QB Justin Fields, the Broncos were behind 11-10 after conceding a safety in the second half. Remarkably, the Jets managed a mere 82 total net yards throughout the entire game.

The Denver quarterback, who completed 19 of 30 passes for 174 yards, engineered a critical 12-play, 65-yard drive that culminated in Lutz's 27-yard field goal with just over five minutes remaining.

Record Struggles for Jets Attack

Despite their dismal performance, the Jets maintained the ball with a opportunity to score a potential victory. However Fields was sacked on fourth down from the Denver 44 when coach Aaron Glenn chose to attempt the conversion instead of sending out specialist Nick Folk for a difficult field-goal attempt.
