The former chairman managed Tottenham's relocation to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in recent years.

US technology mogul Brooklyn Earick has rejected submitting an official acquisition offer for Tottenham.

Spurs had earlier “unequivocally rejected” an informal expression of interest from a investment group led by Earick last month and stated the club was not for sale.

But British acquisition regulations stipulated that, having had an initial approach rejected, the interested parties needed to make an offer by the October deadline or state they would refrain.

Verification of the decision was provided in a announcement released by Spurs to the stock exchange, confirming the team is “not in an takeover phase.”

Earick posted an image of the statement on online platforms, adding: “It was a honor engaging with Spurs and the owners' representatives over the past few months.

“I maintain high regard for the club, its management, and its supporters, and hope for only the best.”

Spurs' leadership expressed gratitude to the group for its “positive engagement” in discussions and for “honoring the firm stance” of the shareholders that the club is unavailable.

Earick is a one-time music presenter who also served in aerospace studies for NASA before establishing Redacted RnD, which concentrates on innovation, media, sport and entertainment.

His approach was the third expression of interest turned down by the club's board since the unexpected exit of long-serving chairman the former chairman in last month.

Earlier in September, the organization rejected offers from former Newcastle United shareholder Staveley's the investment firm and a syndicate led by Dr Roger Kennedy and the co-investor through the holding company.

The former chairman and his household own about a significant stake of Enic Holdings – which has an nearly 87 percent interest in the club.

Levy was the Premier League's longest-serving chairman and is reported to have earned more than ÂŁ50m during his long tenure in the capacity.

But he was also the target of frequent demonstrations by Tottenham supporters, notably last term as home competition outcomes were unsatisfactory.

Tottenham won their initial silverware in seventeen years when they beat Manchester United in last season's continental decider.
